Striped 18th Century Robe in a Rare Mix of Silk and Cotton with Self Fabric Ruching and Bows

The fabric used in this gown is rare, because it is a silk and cotton.  This made the fabric of the gown very durable and sturdy throughout the years (with no splitting).

Exterior is mauve and cream silk and cotton with self fabric ruching and bows at the center front.  Interior is blue and white striped silk at the bottom half of the skirt, red, black and white plaid at the upper section of the skirt and white cotton and linen at the bodice.  The mix of colors used to construct this gown both inside and out makes for quite a visual treat!

Condition is wonderful, fabric is very sturdy on both the interior and exterior.  There is some slight discoloring/staining. (petticoat not included)

Waist measurement: 30 inches  (76 cm)

Bust measurement:  33 inches (84cm). The center front laces up (laces are not included, however they will be hidden from the outside)

Center back measures 54 inches (137cm) from the neckline to hem
