MET Museum Deaccessioned Ivory Silk Wedding Ensemble and Bridesmaid Gown c. 1890
 
Wedding gown constructed with ivory silk brocade.  Having gigot sleeves and trained skirt with large self "ropes" on center panel.  Lined in batting.  
 
Bridesmaid dress having a pink satin bodice, skirt and vestee with gold and pearl bead trim. 
 
Wedding ensemble accessories include a white cotton nightgown, silk stockings and garters.
 
Both gowns are labeled at the waistband with the design house's information.
